I use a very standard build that works perfectly:
Cyclone Axe
Triple Chop
Executioner's Strike (ONLY NEEDED FOR THE BOSS...AND NOT REALLY NEEDED)
Dolyak Signet
Bonnetti's Defence
Vigorous Spirit (just for backup, no need for it since using triple chop)
Life Vicariously
If you try to get as many Vermin in a group as possible, Healing Breeze may buy you some insurance. Thats only if you feel you need to stagger around for a bit while they attack you in order to aggro a few extra vermin.
The only tricks here are a) activate Dolyks just before they attack so that there is no worry of getting in a knock-down lock, b) hit the 'C' key to switch targets whenever one dies (otherwise Triple Chop does not work), and c)use Bonetti's Defence to refill energy. When that boss comes in, its quicker to target him obviously.

ya them vermins pretty good to me too...
yesterday i was farming wardens outside altrumm, and a black dye dropped for me. I went to Senji's corner to try to eliminate the anti-farm code, and got another black dye there in same day, hehe. As soon as i fully undo the anti-farm code im goin back for 2 hours... i hafnt gotten barely any other good drops for that area besides the black dye, but i may just overfarm. Still, good place to farm things.

Vermin are great, they are so full of energy and ready to fight, has anyone
came up with an Assassin build yet ?? Probably gotten 15 pairs of those
green Shreaders daggers so far, I gave away 2 more pair this morning to
first come first serve, one person was asking why I was just "giving" them
away, because I don't like to stand around selling stuff, I would rather make
less money farming and fighting than standing in town selling stuff all day.
have fun....

Been farming Vermin with hammer Warrior, sub in earth-shaker and crude swing,
key is to get in a corner or on a ledge corner so none can get behind you,
because if they all do not fall on earth-shaker, crude swing will get interrupted,
pretty funny watching them fall over and over.....

HELL YEAH!
Farming vermin is are worth it. I get a canthan key about every 2-3 runs. I just started and I've done about 8 runs and got 3 red dies, 3 blue dies, 1 GOLD CELESTIAL SHIELD, 30k and much much more.

I'd say it's still worth it, despite the run dropping off a little in the value of the drops. I do maybe two runs every few days, since I generally hate farming, and I still get about 2k each run, lots of materials, dyes, keys, and the occasional decent gold drop (have gotten 3 celestial sheilds, 1 celestial hammer, and 1 set of celestial daggers since I've been farming there).
If you like to take it easy while farming, but still want to make a good amount of money, I'd highly suggest this over Troll/Mino/Ettin farming anyday. What's fantastic, is that you can usually just use the same build you used for those others. Just don't get too scared of the degen, you'll highly outheal it with Live Vicariously and Vigorous Spirit. I'll put it this way, I've often got my life down to about 10%, but I've never died. So it's all good!

Common run is about 3k every 15 minutes. Luring several groups. Total six fights before zoning back to Senji's Corner.
This has been calculated with vermin hide scale salvage profits and identified all item drops before selling. Start point is random spawn point at Senji's Corner, go in, kill all vermins, go to portal, go back, kill all vermins and salvage some items if inventory is full, zone back to Senji's, identify all items, sell them to merchant, stop point.
